Long term care refers to a variety of support services available to those who need assistance due to accident, illness, a chronic condition, or cognitive impairment such as dementia.
It could be a caregiver coming to your home to help you bathe and dress each morning. It could be a family member helping you with shopping, meal preparation, or household chores.
